Brand Identity

Chime Scholars Foundation (CSF) focuses on providing educational opportunities and financial support to students. The program offers scholarships, mentorship, and resources to help these students pursue higher education and achieve academic success. For this project, I led CSF branding identity and toolkit development.

 

Opportunity, unlocked.

“Opportunity, unlocked,” our tagline, reflects the fact that our scholarships don’t have restrictions on age, background, or educational tracks—from trade school to traditional and beyond. Hand-drawn “pictograms” added a touch of human warmth and imperfection to the branding system. These elements further underscore the idea of inclusivity, progress, and educational opportunities for everyone.

 

Chime Saans is our primary brand typeface that feels simple, bold, and smart. Chime Serif adds credibility without sacrificing personality, making the overall brand feel mature and scholarly. The two are paired together throughout the identity to create the simple yet impactful type treatment.

 

Merch and everything else.

 

Indoor and outdoor signages: Our type and layout system arranges content in simple flows, allowing audience to progress through execution with ease. We also showcase our scholars since they’re the hero of the show.
